  • New Castle Motorsports Park 2010 Track Days

Central Indiana supermoto riders… New Castle Motrsports Park is going to let us on the big track Monday nights again. 2010 is going to be the busiest year New Castle has ever had. They have booked all their weekends with big kart races but they had already planned on making the track available to us on alternating Monday evenings again. I know we all want weekends and I’d love to be able to go out anytime and alternate on track with karters but we just aren’t there yet and the karters are getting larger in numbers still.

When: April 12th is the first open night. Dates will eventually be posted on the NCMP website here as well: http://www.newcastleraceway.com

    TIME: 4-8pm

COST: $20 per rider. You’ll need to sign in inside the store at the parts counter and get your wristband. Cash or credit works.

REQUIREMENTS: Handlebar, Footpeg and Axle sliders are a must. NO SLIDERS = NO RIDE. No anti freeze type coolant. Water or water & water wetter type additive only. Catch cans for fuel and water. Oil breather can or to air box. Usual SM riding gear or leathers. Use common sense, no cutting corners, enter and exit track at pit entrance and exit only.

    Now to answer the FAQs:
    1) Pavement only is scheduled. We’ve got help and equipment but are missing the dirt and the tri axles at the moment. Contact me with any leads. I’m willing to front some coin to get it started.

2)No you won’t have to share with karts after 4pm. They shut the track to karts just for the bikes. Let’s be friendly with the karts and clean up after ourselves, etc.

    3) NCMP is full service. They have showers and restrooms, RV hookups, drinks and snacks available in the store, a warm (or cool) place to hang out indoors with a view of the track, and wifi.

    4) They also have 100 octane fuel available but you’ll need to call them to check the spec is right for you.

I’m going to try and get some flyers out to the local bike shops. The more people we get the more pull we’ll have to get more track time. Spread the word. Back to the fun! See you out there on April 12th. Check their web site for future nights.

Ok I know I should be thinking happy thoughts about next season, but honestly I see a lot of clouds on the horizon and I haven’t spoke to a lot of people who are excited about the state of things right now.

Am I the only one who feels like there might not be a 2010 supermoto season?

  • How to get sponsorship for 2010

I have been asked for years how I get the sponsorship and support I have had through the years. I have been road racing for many years at all levels and had full sponsorship support. Since so many friends and racers have ask how to do it, I thought I would write a booklet on the steps I have used. I feel all levels of riders can benefit from beginners to pro?s. I came up with 20 chapters that I feel will get you started in getting sponsorship for 2010. I have signed with many sponsors already for next year and very excited to help other racers. There is money out there to get, you just need to know how to get it. The booklet will be available in two weeks and I have over 50 AFM ?rs who already placed an order. The cost is 20 dollars and my contact info is available online at racer13.com or you can e mail me at bbartlowrace@aol.com or cell at (559) 273-4429.

  • How to get sponsors for 2010

I have asked for years, how do i get the support and sponsorship i get. Well about a month ago i was read a great book called Mind Gym. This book is about being focused on your support and how to get your mind in the zone. It also talked about going after your goals and thoughts. Well I have thought about writing a book on how to get sponors. Since everyone wants help and ive had great succes getting sponsors, i thought i would help by writting a book. So i stayed up all night and came up with 20 chapters on how to get sponsors. I will be avilable in two weeks and cost 20 dollars. I sold 50 already to AFM people and still counting. The booklet is nt even out yet, but i am recieving checks already. If anyone is intrested in getting one , let me know, My e mail is bbartlowrace@aol.com or you can check my 2010 resume and respond through that at racer13 and click on resume.
