Anyone know of a motard tire that will fit Suzuki JR50 rims? -
Anyone found silver touchup paint to match?`
The silver paint on 2005-2006 (at least) is quite different, I’ve not been able to find any automotive that closely matches it yet. Anyone else have any luck? -
OREGON = EPIC place to live!
 I just wanted to post how thankful I am to live here. Oregon is better than I ever expected it to be. The people here are very friendly, and english is the primary language. The scenic beauty of the lush colors of vegitation and the vast amount of lakes, rivers, streams and ocean front are out of this world. This place offers so many fantastic outdoor activities to take advantage of year round. Housing is afforable, hardly any traffic if you could call it that, low crime rate, no gangbangers that I can see, the land is not littered with private no tresspassing sighns, there is more civilians than cops, taxes are low with no sales tax, celebritys dont control the politics, firearm possesion is legal, it can rain without sig alerts and freeway closures, drivers know what side of the road to drive on, people walk or ride bikes for a 2 block errand instead of only driving, every female is not wearing $200 jeans and a $800 Coach purse, oh my god Im going to stop here because I could go on for hours. And yes your right I moved from california. But I have lived many places besides CA, Bangor Maine, Tucson AZ, PHX AZ, ST Petersburg FL, Glenwood Springs CO, to name a few so Im just expressing how great oregon is in my opinion.
Long before I moved I posted some questions about here and some of you answered my prayers, (you know who you are if you search my posts) Thank you from the bottom of my heart! My wife and kids are as stoked as me. And dont worry Ill keep the Myth alive that it is always overcast and raining. Mums the word! -

Who Needs DIRT
We do…I’m refering to round one at Fontana. XTRM is planning to step in and assist Don Canet and STTARS to build a National Level Dirt Section for everyone to ride. The biggest hurdle is after spending thousands of dollars to bring in dirt, we need to get rid of it after the races.
So… Who Needs Dirt? any So Cal Locals know where we can move these cool jumps and berms when we are done?
Contact Myron Short at XTRM or Don Canet ASAP or post your solid ideas here
Thanks!

2.15×17 front and rear??
Hello all!
Shannon Here and not just new to the forum but new to the SM world
I have 2 very nice XL350Rs 1984/1985 and they both run tight and impressive for 80’s 350 4strokes. As it is common knowledge SM rims are very costly. I was wondering if i could lace my front hub with another 2.15(3")x17,..so i have 2 in the same and maybe put like 110/80/17 tire front and 130/80/17 on rear with success and safety? Maybe for a quick fix till i can afford bigger rim widths. Anyone try this?:hmmm:
Any opinion is appreciated. -
2 questions…
1.anyone else have these sidi?

2.will they EVER break in? -

Does this look right?
Hey guys, i took my front tire off to mount up some Distanzias and when i put it all back together it just didnt quite lok right. Can somebody look and see if they have this gap on the left side of the front axle. It seems like there is a lot of space there but on the side with the rotor it looks pretty tight. Thanks

Supermoto Parts Vendor Reviews
I just set up a section in the forums on my website, an area for people to share their experiences with supermoto specific retailers. I was prompted to do this after seeing countless threads (including one by myself) talking about poor customer service from one particular wheel vendor.I figured I would try and start a sort of centralized Consumer Reports place for people to read about a vendor before placing an order. Neither SMJ nor most of the other related forums are appropriate places for this type of discussion as they are commercial entities and some of the vendors who will be discussed there are site sponsors (conflict of interest kind of thing).
I have added several vendors I have personally dealt with. I know there are others not listed, but am sure they will eventually get listed if this idea gets a foothold.
This section of my forums can be seen here: http://www.pcsupermoto.com/forum/index.php?fid=12
They are visible to any and all visitors, but in order to post or vote, the user will need to register. Also, before ANY post is made visible to the public, it will need to be approved. This is to avoid any blatant name calling or other useless remarks. Posts should be done in a civil tone and as factually based (not emotional) as possible so that they can be of use to potential readers.(To any admins here, if this thread is not appropriate, please delete it.)

Illinois HB3914 defeated today
Illinois bill 3914, which would make it illegal for anyone under the age of 16 to ride, was voted down in committee today 17-3. there were 124 witnesses present to oppose the bill. Good job to all who came. However, Representative Flowers stated that she will bring the bill up again. The current version however is dead.

VA N00bie on the site
Hey guys,
I am fairly new to the website. I am very interested in getting good information about the DRZ400sm which I have been looking at getting for my next toy. I just recently sold my 2004 Suzuki GSXR600 which started out as a regular bike which ended up as a stunt bike. I also have a 2004 CRF 50 all stunted out.I recently just rode my cousins 2008 DRZ400sm and had a blast on it for the limited time I was on it. But I also have been looking at the new 2009 Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 and am very curious about pro’s and con’s on it from riders not reviews or articles. I want to know what the riders think. But anyway, nice to meet yall and hopefully Ill be part of the supermoto community.

How do I do a big wheel conversion on a ttr125?
I just bought a ttr125 for my first bike & its in pretty bad shape. It’s a wrecked ‘07. It needs a rear wheel (among other things) so I was thinking I might as well do a big wheel conversion..but I don’t know how…can anyone help me out? Also, if anyone has parts they are wanting to sell let me know! I really need radiator shrouds for the new yz style gas tank. -
Making The Edge Integrated
Ok here’s the deal. I am looking into making the edged tail light integrated. My only problem is I?m not sure how difficult it is going to be to take the tail light apart. If anyone knows how difficult it is to take it apart, could you tell me and maybe take some pictures. My idea is to either design a whole new board or go off the existing board and just wire LED’s to it.Thanks Everyone

side/number panel bolts…
THIS is driving me crazy. The front bolts holding the side plastics remove easily and appear to have threaded clips on my 08 SMR 510. The rear bolts however are both different colors (one stainless in 8mm and one black in 6mm ) and simply spin. I cannot loosen them or tighten them. Need to get to the fuses, so what gives? Are the rear bolts to the side panels mounted into the rear subframe? Are there nylock nuts somewhere under the seat or inside the airbox holding these bolts in place and allowing them to just spin loosely? What gives?:headscrat

625smc vs 690
I cannot find a thread that displays the differance between the two bikes. The only thing I know if is that 690 is a few cc’s larger displacement and has fuel injection.I would like to know what is the differance in weight, horsepower, fuel milage, fuel capacity, How far you can get on a tank of fuel.
The reason I ask is basically I have found a ‘04 625 for a reasonble price, and a ‘08 690 with 1000 Less K/ms but is 3500 Dollers more.
