Threaded plug in fuel tank came out…little help?
I was taking the side panels and fuel tank of my bike today for the first time. It’s a Husky SM450R. The plastic side panels screw into the fuel tank. There are threaded plugs that the screws screw into on each side of the plastic fuel tank. One of the plugs came out with the screw. The plug was stuck into the hole in the side of the tank with a sticky black goo with the consistency of melted rubber. I have to glue the plug back in to screw the side panel back on.Anyone know what this sticky black goo is and where I can get some? Or what else I could glue the plug back in with? I’m not sure what to use because I thought superglue might react with the plastic fuel tank or something. It might be too brittle too.:headscrat

jetting process
My fuel mixture screw has no plug or something (as pictured) so no drilling required .. screwdriver only.after reading I believe the following is the way to go for me (sea level, rs2, 3×3):
Blue needle, 4th clip from the top (flat end of needle)
160 main jet
22.5 pilot jet w/ the Kientech fuel screw, 25 pilot jet w/ the oem fuel screw.
2 3/4 turns out on either fuel screw.
.. so I understand if I use the stock 22.5 pilot then I install Kientech screw
or
if I use 25 pilot from my JD kit then I use stock fuel screw? Correct?
Which way to go?
Thanks

ASC Racer Camp images;
There were several Nor Cal racers attending American Supercamp over this past weekend in cold, wet and windy Calistoga,Ca. at the napa County Fairgrounds. We had Mike Smith, the Farris brothers, Wyatt and Blake and the Sakai’s Bruce, Brandon along with Josh Serne and we also had Jake Gagne who is bound for the European edition of the Red Bull Rookie Cup. Here are several images from the Racers school. Everyone had a good time well except for Blake who got dropped in the trash can after instigating most of the pranks during the two days they were there. Front brake squeek driving me nuts!
Sup allI had my front pads changed on my 690SM about 1000km ago. At first these new pads were awesome, much more inital bite than the stockers and two finger endo’s are now a breeze. The new pads are Ferodo Cinter pads. Anyway, lately they have begun to squeek at low speed like when stoping for a traffic light, and its really driving me mad! The "power" is still there, they are just more noisey then I would like. I have a track day on Sunday so hoping some High heat and trail braking will sort them out like it did with my previous set, but in case that doesnt do it, what can I do to cure a squeek?
Thanks

Help – looking to get my 1st
Hi All,I have ridden dirtbikes at our farm for years, however time to get riding on the streets. I have been doing a fair bit of research, but wanted some opinions from people who knew what they were talking about.
I love the new Aprilia tards, the 550 specifically, however it appears to have crazy maintenance requirements/cost..
I am now looking at the Honda CRF450, any advice on this bike? I think Ill go a 2nd hander, like a 07-08, but wanted to hear what the bikes rep is?
Also, I am 6′1, and 110kgs, I am not fat, i am fit and i wanted to see how I would illuminate the sag when I sit on the bike, I hate sitting on one of my current bikes and it sinks terribly :headshake
This is very important, as I don’t want to look like a tool on a nice bike you know. Is it a case of changing the spring to a very stiff one to support my weight?
Ideally I would love it to only sag like an inch or 2 at most!
Thanks for all you help in advance guys!
